I had to uninstall Health-Minder this afternoon and when I reinstalled it,
it would not take the password you sent me when I first installed it. What do I do?
Answer:
The password is based on the installation date and is stored in the Health-Minder database. So, if you delete the database files and then try to reinstall Health-Minder, you will need a new password. If you need to move Health-Minder to another computer, move the database files too, because not only do they have the password, but all the data you have entered.
The database files are located in the directory c:\hminder\base. You should also move the files in the directory c:\hminder\dict. You should copy the files in c:\hminder\base to diskettes often as a backup copy of your data.
If you do lose your database files and need a new password to reinstall Health-Minder, contact support@health-minder.com .
