The following is a list of some known problems with our software; we are working to
correct them for the next release.
Version 1.22 Enter an amount of zero in the Refund section
caused "Illegal" message. This has been fixed in Version
2.0.
Deleting the last item of a sorted list of names sometimes caused
re-display problems so that an item in the database did not appear
on the list, even though the data had not been lost. This
problem has been fixed in Version 2.0.
Version 1.21: pushing the Update Pets Checkup button on the
Pet Medical History form sometimes crashed program. This has
been fixed in Version 1.22
Entering an incorrect date format in the Payments form crashed
program. Fixed in Version 1.22, and an error message window is
displayed.
Version 1.1: some users of Windows 95/98 reported problems in printing
to their printer from a report window. Work around: type in the name of a file
(plain text or check Rich Text Format) and save to the file. Open file in your
favorite word processor and print from there. This problem did not occur for users
of Windows 3.1, or NT. This problem has been fixed in Version 1.2 which provides the
TxtPrint utility.
In the Health Resources feature, you may find that some telephone
numbers or Internet addresses become obsolete. This is not a "bug" in the
software, but an inevitable occurrence over time as organizations move or re-organize
their services. The telephone number/Internet address field is editable, and you may
re-enter the correct new number or address if it has been changed.
In the Insurance component, you may find that your managed care or fee
for service plan differs in some way from the questions asked on the data entry form.
Your plan may not have some of the options, or may have an option not listed in the
form. As you can imagine, with so many variations in plan coverage, it is difficult
to devise a data entry form that is both easy to use and comprehensive. We welcome
any suggestions you have concerning the form for describing
plan coverage.
Installing Health-Minder on a Windows NT system: before running the
program hm32.exe, be sure you are not connected to a network, and remove any CD-ROM from
the CD-ROM drive. This will speed installation. If you have downloaded
hm32.exe after Oct 12, 1998, this suggestion can be ignored as the installation program
will search only local drives.
