| Tools for downloading: Downloading
a large program file can be frustrating if you keep losing your internet connection. There
are some utilities called "download managers" that work with your browsers to
detect disconnected lines and resume downloading. The utility may check the files
being downloaded for viruses and provide a way to categorize and organize the files you
download. Some of these utilities work with Netscape, some with Microsoft Internet
Explorer, some with both. Some require a recent version of your favorite browser.
They may be free or require a $20-$30 registration fee. But whether you are
downloading Health-Minder or any other program, we suggest you install a download manager
compatible with your browser to provide more reliable downloads. Here are some
suggestions, although Health-Minder cannot guarantee performance of any of these on your
computer. |
