Health and Fitness Measurements   The Health-Minder Diary can document patterns in health observations over time.  The sort of items that might be kept in such a diary include:
a record of weight gain during pregnancy
the results of home blood pressure monitoring or monthly  breast exam  hmMammo.gif (1044 bytes)
a record of a child's growth and development
functional assessments of elderly or disabled persons to enable better plans for their care hmWhlchr.gif (1064 bytes)
a record of exercise and diet achievements, the process of entering which can motivate lifestyle changes to meet personal fitness goals hmDumb.gif (987 bytes)
Health-Minder enables users to create their own items to measure, and how to measure them.  For example, exercise results can be measured in laps, minutes of aerobic activity, miles, pounds lifted, and even energy level or mood.  Users may then see results in table or graph form.
