Wellness Programs for Taft-Hartley Funds

Bernard Handel, Mitchell Langbert

Paperback (November 1992)  Intl Foundation of Employee Benefit;
ISBN: 0891544550
Reader Review:
This book targets fund managers and other professionals involved in the day-to-day operation of Taft-Hartley funds. Such funds have lagged corporate plan sponsors in adopting wellness programs. One reason might be class bias inherent in wellness programs: Rank-and-file employees are typically less interested in health imagery than are managers and executives. It is incumbent upon Taft Hartley funds to help employees to better health free of class bias.

Publisher's comment:
This is the first comprehensive publication on health promotion and wellness programs for multiemployer plans.
